Some of the things I've read lately:
Bill Doskoch notes that Blue Velvet still appears to be too shocking for Toronto film houses.
George Michael sure is getting good at predicting his own media circus, following his arrest for drugs: "I have been through enough in 24 years of dealing with the media to know what I am in for from them this week," Michael's statement said. "Much of it will be inaccurate or simply untrue. I can handle that, it is my own stupid fault, as usual."
The iPod is such an obvious toy for adults: why, just look at how they hold it! Sure enough, toymakers themselves want in on the fun.
Penn Jillette - the talkative one in Penn & Teller - has a podcast. Have subscribed; not that crazy about it, to be honest. I have to be honest: with so, so many choices right now, something has to be really good to get my attention.
Alan notes that good information/ programming can come on the cheap.
