If you've worked in newspapers - really worked at them, where you're fretting over fine print in the bowels of a building, and heard the humming of presses - you probably know some prepress folks. Great people, who simply have no choice but to work quickly and literally keep the wheels moving. I loved this exchange from Overheard in the Newsroom this week:
Sports editor: “I write the songs, ya know?”
Prepress supervisor: “Why don’t you write the stories and send me your page?”
