So says this NYT piece about David Sedaris being approached to sign a digital version of his work, or at least the thing containing.
It hadn't occurred to me that something like this might happen; two thoughts come to mind. One, how committed, really, is a literary fan when he doesn't spring for a full-fledged book and yet feels compelled to get an autograph on a Kindle? Two, would it be cool or not for a Kindle to have multiple author signatures, collected over time? (I think it might be cool, but could, with errant use of a Sharpie, defeat the purpose of having one of those nice clear screens.)
