Until this week, I did not know that the spooky, banjo-inflected music used as the theme song for Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the BBC radio show from the Seventies, that is) was performed by the Eagles. The song is called Journey of the Sorcerer, and appeared on the 1975 album One of These Nights.
