Dire Straits, from 1980. The performance was on Fridays, the SNL-ripoff that ABC tried for a couple of years. (Michael Richards was on the show, a decade before Kramer made his dodgy entrance into Jerry's apartment.)

This was one of my favourite songs in high school, by the way.
