Toronto Tempo is the name of this film by Ryan Emond, who both photographed it and then edited it together. As you'll see, both elements are really remarkable.
Toronto has been buzzing about EdgeWalk, an attraction on the CN Tower (right on top of the restaurant, to be precise, or 375 metres up), in which participants can be tethered to the tower, and able to lean back ... right on the edge.
It's not cheap. It's $175 for a ticket, and you have to meet specific requirements involving your health, for instance, not to mention your sobriety. (It's good to know they check!)
I don't know if I'd be game to try it out. It would certainly be unforgettable. EdgeWalk formally opens on Monday. Expect to hear more.
Dot Dot Dot is Morse code for the letter 'S,' the full message Guglielmo Marconi claimed to have received atop Signal Hill in St. John's in 1901. It ushered in the age of telecommunications. My maternal grandfather worked as a telegraph operator for Canadian Marconi on Signal Hill for many years.
As well, I have a habit of overusing the ellipsis when I write ... as frequent readers might notice.
