From Kim at Bacon & Ehs, a bit about Woogle, which converts a search query into pictures.
I got this result, for instance, when I plugged in a phrase from the popular Newfoundland folk ditty Kelligrews Soiree: "birch rind, tar twine, cherry wine and turpentine."
When I put in my own name, I got two pictures - one of two fellows, the second of Brad Gushue, the curler, so I suppose that's not so bad ...
From Woogle, I clicked through to Toogle, which is just as fun. It turns images of search results into something that's text-based. Sort of.
Here's the result for "Newfoundland."
