Congrats on a job well done - especially considering the circumstances. I’ve often wondered how journalists can detach themselves in the midst of such tragic events, particularly when one hits so close to home.

My guess is that many walk a fine line between the professional detachment and objectivity needed to report facts and the human aspect that’s bound to creep it and affect the most hardened reporter. You’ve walked that line quite well.
