@suenew One of the interesting things about Twitter is that it's adaptable. If you only want to send info out - raising your own profile, as w/ celebs, news services, etc - then it wd make sense that you'd look for more followers than ...followees...

BUT if you're looking for useful info in var. categories, you want to follow people who are putting out useful-to-you info in those categories. Then,the more people you follow, the better (not that it helps check on Gordon Lightfoot's health!). I like to follow people who add links to their tweets - What I love most about Twitter is that it's like that crawl at the bottom of the TV screen, but you can watch it at your leisure and click to find out more.
