Our son is constantly on the move, but once in a while he slows down enough for a shot like this to happen. Martha took it recently while we were on one of our walks around Kent's Pond.

At first, it sounded like a fancy way of saying another word: “edited,” or even just “chosen.” As in, “That feature included some material that was well curated.”...

What does a scientist look like? It depends if you've met one The above drawing comes from this post, about a project about science, gender roles and what kids think. Grade 7 students who were about to visit a U.S. Department of Energy lab were asked to draw what they thought a scientist looked like. After, they were asked to come up with a new drawing. The comparisons are revealing, to say the least.
