What an excellent idea to prove a point. If only people's attitudes about recycling would change - and that's a drastic change - we would be doing this place a world (pardon the pun) of good.

I work in an educational setting and the indifference to recycling never ceases to amaze me. This indifference, by both students and faculty, about where they can dispose of paper and plastic products, is appalling. Upon leaving a classroom there is a choice to put paper in the paper recycling bin and (mostly) plastic water bottles in the plastics bin. The amount in a) the wrong bin or b) in the regular garbage is staggering. How difficult is it to do the right thing? Are people that lazy? Or just that uncaring?
