Come and Get Your Love

Remember Redbone? Not really a one-hit wonder, but if they're remembered widely for one thing, it's Come and Get Your Love from 1974 .. and perhaps for being one of the first bands to feature Native Americans (brothers Patrick and Lolly Vasquez were also of Mexican heritage). 

It's one of my favourite tunes from the golden-oldies era of AM radio.

To the hilt During recent trips to the movie theatre, we noticed this display for the upcoming Puss in Boots animated feature, with Antonio Banderas hamming it up as the lethal feline. Our son Nick, though, was the one who picked out a great detail on the big 3-D cardboard display. If you look closely at the hilt of the sword (what Donkey called "a piece," if I recall correctly), you see a puddy-tat spin:
