Looking back at the British Railway A friend of mine drew my eye to this, a 23-year-old advertisement for the now-defunct British Railways. For folks in the U.K., the nostalgia may be about the past of the rail system; for me, I was more struck by how the ad (it's 2 minutes, 30 seconds) was put together. Also a part of the past, for sure.

Portrait of the dad Nick took this snap Saturday morning while we were out and about. I love seeing what he can do with a camera, and he's only 11 yet.
